Modem

Satellite Modem IRIDIUM9523CB, is designed for receiving and transmitting data in the IRIDIUM® satellite network with global coverage. It is manufactured based on the platform of IRIDIUM® satellite modem IR-00-CLBT1101-9523 (Iridium9523Core). SATELLITE MODEM IRIDIUM9523CB provides automatic, continuous reception and transmission of digital data. Through the use of IRIDIUM satellite network, data is transmitted  in real time, in flight and on the ground.

Depending on the modem modification option, the following data transmittance options are available:

• Modification IR9523CB-01 – a transmission of parametric digital information from the on-board recorder (Quick Flight Data Recorder);
• Modification IR9523CB-02 – a simultaneous transmission of parametric digital information from two on-board FDRs (Quick Flight Data Recorder);

• Modification IR9523CB-03 – a simultaneous transmission of the parametric digital information from the two on-board FDRs (Quick Flight Data Recorder and Flight Data Recorder), as well as reception and transmission of crew voice messages (voice communication), or a reception – data transmission on the Internet.
